THE SISTERHOOD BLOG
I have always been a coffee drinker at heart, but never really cared about the caffeine. I just loved the taste! Early on in my AIP days I used to go sit in coffee shops to do work just so I could smell the sweet, roasty aroma… Sounds crazy right? While I have accepted the fact that coffee doesn’t love me, I still miss that comforting morning cup. This herbal coffee has become my new morning obsession! The combination of roasted dandelion root and chicory tastes so much like coffee I was shocked. It has a robust, earthy taste with
Halloween is going to look differently this year – no trick-or-treating, parties, or gatherings – BUT that doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun! So, when the holiday is traditionally centered around candy how can you make it Autoimmune Protocol friendly? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with some of my favorite spooky activties!
My family has a tradition of going pumpkin picking every year, but like many other families, our traditions look differently this year. So, my dad being the incredible gardener he is, decided to grow a little pumpkin patch in his backyard and so far it has produced a pretty good harvest. My husband and I have a tradition every Saturday morning of making these waffles, a big batch of bacon, coffee or tea and watching House Hunters International together. Honestly, this tradition is getting us through life at the moment… It’s the little things, am I right? Apple and cinnamon is such a classic combination. So, when you put it in a waffle the result is the ultimate fall comfort food. These waffles
I’m all about easy weeknight dinners. Don’t get me wrong, I love to create a lavish meal every now and then but on a Thursday night after a long day of work and my puppy barking his head off, I just want to make something easy. Do you feel the same? This crispy roasted broccoli is a go-to side dish in our house for that very reason. It has three ingredients and is on the table in 30 minutes without almost no effort required. I’m not sure that it can get any easier than that! If chopping vegetables is a
