Slim is Simple Link Love

This coming week I plan to talk a little bit about why I follow the paleo diet.  That being said, I wanted to share this wonderful video with you all today. It is a great introduction to the logic behind eating a diet free of grains and processed food. I hope you take a look at the video and I encourage you to visit slimissimple.org and learn more about this awesome campaign! [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U36XJaETbh8]

  • Thanks for sharing this video. Is SANE the same as Paleo? I’ve heard about both and wasn’t sure.

    • Tammy: I believe that both lifestyle plans are very similar. Both advocate for eating non-processed foods and limiting starches and sugars. I think their main differences lie in their motivations. SANE advocates eating clean food for weight loss purposes Paleo tends to advocate the same thing for better overall health and because of our genetics. Also, It sounds like SANE isn’t quite as anti-grain as the Paleo diet is. All in all they are very similar in that they both advocate for eating in a way that works WITH our bodies to boost health rather than fighting against the food we are eating. Thanks for commenting! I hope this answers your question!
